JOB TRAINING PROGRAM

Empowering special populations by equipping them with job and life skills.

Plantable’s Job Training Program

We provide hands-on job training in horticulture and hospitality to individuals who may face obstacles to a solid career path. This can include people with disabilities, veterans, individuals in recovery, those emerging from homelessness, and others navigating major life transitions. Our mission is to provide a safe, structured, and inspiring environment where participants can acquire valuable life and employment skills while making meaningful contributions to their community.

Participants attend the program four days a week, engaging in practical training across a variety of areas, including plant care, food service, customer interaction, event support, workplace communication, and basic property maintenance. Training takes place in our vibrant nursery garden and café space, where trainees interact directly with customers—building confidence, communication skills, and a sense of purpose.

Our 12–18 month program is carefully tailored to meet each individual’s learning needs and growth potential. We believe that through hands-on experience—whether nurturing plants or serving coffee and pastries—individuals gain not only employable skills but also self-worth and stability. Every interaction becomes an opportunity for healing, connection, and personal transformation.
