Presented by Shasta College- Learn to garden with native plants, support pollinators, and create a beautiful, low-maintenance landscape that thrives naturally. To start the class off right, all participants will receive a complimentary coffee or tea paired with a delicious bag of beignets! To purchase tickets click on the leaf icon.
Open Mic Night
Open Mic Nights at Plantable are the 2nd Thursday of the month from 5pm-9pm.
Every 4th Thursday of the month will be a split event with Plant Bingo from 5pm-6:30pm and Open Mic from 6:30pm-9pm. Tickets for sale for Plant Bingo can be purchased on the Plant Bingo tab. Open Mic is free.
On Thursday, Sept. 24th from 5 PM to 6:30 PM we are going to have plant bingo! Yes, you read that right, plant bingo! Winners get plants! Tickets are $25 per person. Beer, wine and soft drinks as well as paninis, beignets and salads will be for purchase so come out and have some fun with us! Click on the plant icon to purchase your tickets. Night @the Nursery
Night@theNursery is at Plantable every Friday, weather permitting, from 5pm-9pm we hope to see you there!
As dusk settles, the garden transforms into an enchanting oasis, alive with the soulful sounds of live music drifting through the air. You can wander at your leisure, perhaps finding a cozy spot to enjoy a crisp wine, a refreshing beer, or a cold soda or sparkling water available for purchase. There will be culinary delights to savor if you’re hungry, including Plantable’s yummy paninis. And for that perfect sweet treat warm, tasty beignets are ready to complete your delightful evening under the stars.
Picnic at Plantable
Picnic@Plantable is each Thursday- Saturday (weather permitting). Bring your lunch and enjoy the garden. Drinks, yummy paninis and fresh beignets for purchase. Nursery is open each week Thursday- Saturday 9am-1pm.
Calaboose Creek Clean Up
CLEAN UP THE CREEK- DATE TO BE DETERMINED from 9am-11am at Plantable 2018 California Street, entrance to nursery is on Gold Street across from the Riverfront Playhouse.
Cleaning up a creek is good for the wildlife, the environment, the aesthetics of the city and for all the people who pass by it daily. At Plantable, we love our community and want to see its beauty shine out for all to see! Free coffee and beignets! Plantable will provide tools, water, and snacks. Volunteers must sign a waiver, bring their own gloves, and wear long sleeves, pants, and closed-toed shoes.

Presented by Shasta College- Design and plant your own vibrant container garden in this hands-on class. Ideal for patios and small spaces, with purpose and creativity. Each participant will plant and take home their own custom-designed container garden. Tickets are $85 per person. You can bring your own container or purchase one at Plantable. Presented By Shasta College- you’ll learn which vegetables, herbs, and flowers flourish in fall, how to extend your harvest, and techniques for protecting your plants from early frosts. We’ll also cover tips for soil health, composting, and planning ahead for a vibrant spring garden. Tickets are $40 per person and you can purchase them by clicking the leaf icon.

Presented by Shasta College- Get into the spirit of the season with our class! In this creative, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to transform a simple pumpkin into a stunning fall centerpiece using fresh flowers and foliage. Tickets are $50 each click on the pumpkin icon to purchase.

Presented by Shasta College- We’ll cover essential floral design techniques like layering, texture, and color harmony, while guiding you step-by-step through the process.
