FIELD TRIPS

We provide field trip opportunities to give students nature exposure, environmental education, and engaging lessons that incorporate hands-on activities! Studies have shown that environmental education improves:

• Environmentally friendly behavior, such as reducing water use, increasing recycling, and participating in community cleanups
• Academic skills (21st Century skills), including critical thinking, oral communication, analytical skills, problem solving, and higher-order thinking
• Motivation to learn, with enthusiasm for and interest in school
• Civic interest and engagement, including feelings of responsibility, empowerment, and the ability to take action

Our program immerses students in an interactive, supportive setting where they can build confidence, foster curiosity, and strengthen their academic and social development. Field trips may include plant education, nature-based craft, and hands-on science, all in our beautiful nursery next to the creek.
